Skits! 3 tenses and a discovery!

Hello ELC.

Here is  what we have been working on and your next due date. Watch this space for more info. on timeline soon.

In teams of 2 - 5, prepare (write, stage, rehearse and perform) a skit according to the following criteria:

·      The skit must be no shorter than 2 minutes and no longer than 10 minutes in length when performed.

·      Identify, W5 (who, what, where, why, when, how) over the course of your play.

·      There must be an element of discovery in your play.

·      The story must include mention of the past, the present and the future.  (allowing us to use our verb tenses) Bonus for use of Conditional tenses. For help see: https://www.englishpage.com/conditional/conditionalintro.html

1.    You will brainstorm today:  your characters, setting, plot(conflict).

2.    Next, you will type up the script. While it is fine for one of your team to do the typing, it is necessary that all members be involved in the creation and editing of the written product.

3.    You will be given time to brainstorm/explore/proofread/edit/type/print and rehearse.

4.    Finally, you will perform your skits for the class and hand in your scripts.
