student presentations/written component:
3 Work Periods then presentations:
Create
: a mise-en-scene presentation
· choose a short film or
scene from a film or TV show that you feel links to your life.
· Share clip with the class
when you do your talk.
· explain why you chose the
scene (how it is relevant to your own life/identity/interests?)
· describe and reflect on it
using what you have learned in the unit so far:
- understanding
character interactions and development/ emotions and analysis
- symbolic/metaphorical
imagery
- representation
- descriptive
writing (adjectives)
- expository
writing (transition words) Explaining your ideas clearly
Due
between Feb. 4-11: 1. Presentations will be 5 mins long and
we will do 6-8 students per day. We
will sign up for our dates Jan . 30/
31
2. Written work is due at the time of your presentation.
