IN CLASS WRITE NOV. 15/16/Due dates/upcoming assessments/ activities

Hello ELC,

Nov. 6/7:  Spelling Demons quiz #2 (right hand column)
Nov. 7/8: Character interviews -  As your protagonist, be ready to answer the following questions aloud:
  • What is your character’s name and where and when do they live?
  • What do you love/hate the most and why?
  • What do you see as your goal in life?
  • What is your biggest ‘stumbling block/problem/impediment?
  • What is your greatest strength? What is your greatest weakness?
  • Is there anything you wish people could understand about you?
Come ready to respond to these questions in character.

We will be adopting a learning readiness/participation rubric/assessment for each class from now on. You and I will both be assessing your focus, behaviour, English, and work for each block.

Nov. 13/14: Journals #1-#10 due.  Hand written and unedited. (Be sure to keep a copy of the one you want to work more with)
Nov. 15/16: Quote/theme of the book due. (See rubric in class) IN CLASS WRITE TODAY!
Nov. 21/22: Book talk test (both spoken and written due today) (see rubrics in class)
Nov. 28/29: Revised journal entry due. (We will do lessons on this) I HAVE EXTENDED THIS BY 1 DAY!

We will be doing additional spoken/listening/writing assessments for 1701 as we round out Nov.
