Film Festival project and due dates!

Hello All,

Below (this and last post) are your instructions and due dates for your Film Fest presentations.

ELC Film Festival Assignment

Instructions: Now it’s your turn to choose a film scene! For this presentation, you will choose a movie/TV clip that connects to who you are right now (interests, experiences, character) to show to the class. The video clip does not have to be animated,

Your 5-minute presentation will include:
- showing a video clip (approx. 2 minutes in length, in English; it can have words, but it does not need to be animated)
- an oral reflection on why this scene is important to you and how it reflects who you are at this stage in your life
- a written plot summary of the scene (using adjectives, transition words, proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation)


Film Festival Timeline:

Wednesday, March 14/15:
·      Presentation work period

Friday, March 16/April 3:
·      Presentation work period
·      Video clip submission (email to me your link and the (time stamps ex.1:03-3:03) 
·      Presentation line-up (order of presenters)

SPRING BREAK

Tuesday April 3 : (see above)

Wednesday, April 4/5:
·      Presentation work period
·      DUE: written plot summary (at the end of class)

Friday, April 6/9:
·      Film Festival
·      8 presentations (5 mins each) watch to see which of these days is YOUR presentation day! : )

Tuesday, April 10/11:
·      Film Festival
·      9 presentations (5 mins each)

Thursday, April 12/13:
·      Film Festival
·      8 presentations (5 mins each)
