As we head into the final days of school, you will be beginning to prepare for your final tests and projects. In an effort to be organized, efficient, calm and to maximize your learning we will be working on these assessments.
Below and in the coming days, I will share notes,videos and links here and in class to support you in your efforts to do well on your assessments.
Today we began looking at making a big picture plan using a moth at a glance calendar.
Your homework (for a mark) for Friday June 8 (A block) or Monday June 11 (E/F) is to fill in all your upcoming assignments/tests. This means asking your teachers:
- "When is the exam/test/assignment due?"
- "What will the exam/test cover?"
- "What format will the exam/test/assessment take?"
- "Will every chapter be evenly weighted on the exam/test?"
- "Is there a study guide for this exam?
Once you have this information, we can work together to build:
- a balanced study schedule
- targeted study methods
- practice quizzes
- study groups
